Our weekend coming to a close

As the weekend comes to a close...

First off, THANK YOU! -- We are so blessed from the support and excitement that everyone has shown for us and our second pregnancy.  Most would say the second isn't as exciting as the first, however our second is our last. it that case it is just as exciting.

Our weekend was filled with: a mommy/son date night while daddy worked late(14hr day), 2 days of sleeping in, 2 - good 3hr nap, Saturday spent in PJ's until 5pm, at home movie date night with the hubby, Church followed by the usual trip to Dickey's(kids eat free on Sundays), hubby got to use his grill, made some popcorn and watched football! :) We are very happy with today's results and excited to host our 3rd Annual Super Bowl Party! :) Go Patriots!

Weekend at Grandparents

You know that one place, where you can go and get away from EVERYTHING. Sit in relaxation and just enjoy each others company.

We got to go to that place this past weekend, it's called 

"The Grandparents House" in Clara City, MN

Yes, Clara City the town of 1, 360 it is always so relaxing. Sitting in the man cave, with the fire going(ok, it's electric but still dreamy), eating real popcorn(not just microwaveable), all along with waking up to an amazing breakfast(eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, pancakes) 

Mason loves playing there and grandma even showed him the toy box! 

Although, we also had to get out the noise makers! 

We also got to play with Grandma on the floor! 

Great Grandma even came over to visit and to read to us! 

All in all a great, relaxing weekend! 

Regionals in Waterloo, IA

This past weekend I went to Codie's regional wrestling tournament in Waterloo with Nicole! It was a 5 hours drive but it was a blast, a great girls weekend away! 

We left Saturday afternoon and got there at about 6pm we ate supper at Olive Garden(my favorite!!) then went shopping for our kids and finally checked into our hotel! 

Sunday we woke up and got ready, first match was at 10am! Codie did an awesome job, he won his first match and proceed onto the winners bracket. He then ended up wrestling the #2 guy in the nation but lost, he wrestled very good though. We then had a little break for lunch, Noodles & Company(very good!) and got back just in time to watch match #3 :) Some how the #1 guy in the nation lost out and got sent down to the losers bracket, of course Codie had to wrestle him. Codie should have won with a pin but the ref had missed it and he ended up loosing by 1 point, ONE!! 

However 3 people from SMSU made it to Nationals, Justin Reinsma, Jake & Kyle Begin!

Gender Reveal Party!

A special thank you to everyone that came to our gender reveal party! Big thank you to Brianna & Megan for throwing the party for us! It was so fun to finally be able to tell everyone what we are having!!

..Little Behind!

I am a little bit behind on updating! So here is *what I can remember* of what we did in December so far! I usually try to make notes in my phone or on Facebook, but sometimes I forget!! :)) I will try to update more often! I have a doctor appointment on Friday so I will update with heart beat and all that.

Dec 5: I met up with the Roesler's because Kaylee had surgery on her legs. It was the first time seeing them in 14 months. It was awesome being able to catch up and talk again! 

  Dec 6: At my last appointment my pap-smear was abnormal so they are doing test on Friday. Also at my last appointment the heart beat was 160! I'm thinking the baby is a girl, Matt is still saying boy! 

Dec 7: We went to Pizza Ranch for Peyton's 2nd Birthday Party! 

Dec 21-25: We went to the Gniffke's in Wood Lake for Christmas, thinking on Christmas Eve we would be going to the Speiser Christmas. We went to Duffy's for supper on Saturday. However, Sunday we woke up and Matt didn't feel good so we went to urgent care. Influenza and Strep came back negative but the doctor still diagnosed Matt with Influenza so here we are both home for 5 days no work. Doctor highly suggested I didn't have daycare open. 

Dec 24: NICOLE AND CODIE GOT ENGAGED!!!! We are so extremely excited for the both of them! We couldn't be any happier for them!!! They are awesome parents are so in love! 

Denver 2012

I got to go to Denver/Vail this past weekend from 11/9-11/12 to see Trish, Chris, Simon and Danica and met some new friends! We had a blast! I was obviously the DD and it was the first time I have ever enjoyed being a DD! It was so beautiful there, but also cold! These are just a few photos from the trip!

We went to valleyscare this past weekend with Brianna, Chelsey, Brianna, Megan, Ryan, Tricia, and Cory. It was fun, I didn't go in any haunted house but I loved the rollercoasters!! We also went to Dave and Busters which I have been wanting to do for a long time now, that was a blast!!

Fall Time!

We have finally been able to get our couches moved in, by taking them apart screw by screw and the putting them back together inside! After we got done with that we decorated outside!! It was a fun relaxing weekend at home!!

..Lake Get Away..

We went to the lake this past weekend with Matt's family! It was so nice just to have another nice, enjoyable, relaxing weekend!! With family, the sun, jet skis, and relaxation! I haven't been on a jet ski in years so it was so much fun for Matt & I to get to do this!! It was also his grandma's birthday, the main reason we all got together!!
