Our weekend coming to a close

As the weekend comes to a close...

First off, THANK YOU! -- We are so blessed from the support and excitement that everyone has shown for us and our second pregnancy.  Most would say the second isn't as exciting as the first, however our second is our last. it that case it is just as exciting.

Our weekend was filled with: a mommy/son date night while daddy worked late(14hr day), 2 days of sleeping in, 2 - good 3hr nap, Saturday spent in PJ's until 5pm, at home movie date night with the hubby, Church followed by the usual trip to Dickey's(kids eat free on Sundays), hubby got to use his grill, made some popcorn and watched football! :) We are very happy with today's results and excited to host our 3rd Annual Super Bowl Party! :) Go Patriots!

Time to reflect

As I sit outside watching Matt grill pork-chops and Mason stuff his face with Cheerios handfuls at a time. The leaves are slightly blowing and cars are passing by. 

I think about how thankful I am for many things in life that I truly take for granted.

It's disgusting how satan always tries to temp us. This morning in church they talked about how hard Sunday mornings are. Isn't that the truth. This morning we didn't want to get out of bed at 730 when usually I get up at 630. Then off the bat a small fight started. We got to church right at 830(which is late for me). The 2nd song we sang, Lord I Need You. We all need him all the time, every day.

I'm thankful for a relaxing weekend, family time at the orchard, for my husband to cook dinner so I can just relax even more and for the beautiful view of God's creation.

Weekend at Grandparents

You know that one place, where you can go and get away from EVERYTHING. Sit in relaxation and just enjoy each others company.

We got to go to that place this past weekend, it's called 

"The Grandparents House" in Clara City, MN

Yes, Clara City the town of 1, 360 it is always so relaxing. Sitting in the man cave, with the fire going(ok, it's electric but still dreamy), eating real popcorn(not just microwaveable), all along with waking up to an amazing breakfast(eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, pancakes) 

Mason loves playing there and grandma even showed him the toy box! 

Although, we also had to get out the noise makers! 

We also got to play with Grandma on the floor! 

Great Grandma even came over to visit and to read to us! 

All in all a great, relaxing weekend! 

Updating the house

I have been wanting to paint since Christmas time, it has been getting put of month by month. We FINALLY got it done BEFORE the baby came(I started to think this wasn't going to happen!). I feel so much more relaxed and at ease! It is so nice to come home to a HOME. A place that feels relaxing and clean! We couldn't have done it with out our amazing friends, The Pettis Family! :) They really should just start painting for a career! We also update the lights in the living room and dinning room, and our ceiling fan in our bedroom(it sounded as if it was going to fall down when we had it on!)

...relaxation...

As a lot of you know I have been going through quite a bit with my new daycare and being pregnant....but it seems like as soon as things are looking better they get worse again...tonight was fun, it wasn't relaxing we were on our toes but I went to watch Ashtyn & Brayden (niece and nephew) play basketball, then we ate at Culvers, made a trip to goodwill and ended it at Walmart. It was def. a lot of laughs so that was good. But man I can not wait to be on vacation next week.

And...

This whole being pregnant thing is worst than a period for my emotions. I wish I wasn't so emotional but hey, we are having a baby and that is a gift from God! We are very excited and it's so hard keeping it in! I just want to shout it out! So I'm going to on here! "WE'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!"

Fall Time!

We have finally been able to get our couches moved in, by taking them apart screw by screw and the putting them back together inside! After we got done with that we decorated outside!! It was a fun relaxing weekend at home!!

..Lake Get Away..

We went to the lake this past weekend with Matt's family! It was so nice just to have another nice, enjoyable, relaxing weekend!! With family, the sun, jet skis, and relaxation! I haven't been on a jet ski in years so it was so much fun for Matt & I to get to do this!! It was also his grandma's birthday, the main reason we all got together!!
